I find myself asking the question, what's wrong with people? all of the time . I ask myself this question or I ask my husband this question after witnessing some idiotic act that just makes me ask what's wrong with people?. Someone cuts someone off in traffic and almost causes an accident, What's wrong with people? Someone gives an attitude for no reason, What's wrong with people? A person drives while obviously intoxicated and won't hand over the wheel, What's wrong with people? I just found myself asking this question all too often. I thought I would share my experiences with others who might be asking the same question to themselves or to their loved ones when they witness something unique, strange, or just plain stupid.
Last night, my husband and I were on the metro and after witnessing something absolutely disgusting (more on that
occurrence later) and found myself asking the same old question, what’s wrong with people? I decided I would blog our metro encounter as the first entry of many, I am calling my blog - "What's wrong with people?"(WWWP).
So, last night on the metro - Vienna to Metro Center - a woman sat diagonal from my husband and I on the metro, a rather large unkempt and distraught woman. She seemed innocent enough, but then after she put on her lip-gloss in the most bizarre way with one hand and no mirror she proceeded to pick her nose, roll her fingers and throw whatever she found in her nose on the metro floor. She not only did this once, but multiple times. WWWP? I don't understand why someone would want to do such a gross personal thing on the metro in public. I have seen some gross stuff on the metro before such as a homeless guy urinating in the corner who obviously couldn't hold himself any longer and could care less about what he did in public. This woman we saw on the metro last night had no shame in her game. She just couldn't wait to dig in her nose multiple times and share her gold with the rest of us metro users. WWWP?
